ABOUT
Games, Design, and Me
Hi, I'm Tom.
I'm a gamer inventor and experience designer from Melbourne, Australia. I first started inventing games back in 2010, working as a camp counsellor where I would come up with large group live-action games (with plenty of cosplay elements!)

After I left camp in 2014 I wanted to continue designing games, but found myself without a platform to do it. So I turned to the wonderful world of tabletop game design, and started with my first game, Poop Town: an ambitious attempt to turn one of my live action game ideas into a cooperative board game. As with most first games, it didn't quite work, but I had fun making it.

Soon after I started designing my second game, an assymteric, take that card game about the gods of ancient Greece called Dodecathon. After that, the floodgates opened and game ideas and prototypes came thick and fast.

My game designs are informed my personal philosophy of the games I want to make: quick, easy to learn, silly, lots of (direct and indirect) player interaction, and can fit into small boxes.
Take them anywhere, play them with anyone, and always have time for them.

Welcome to my world of silly fun.
